I think I'm being targeted. Do you know the significance of dead flowers and chocolate?

[ There was a sigh over the device as Jaco looked over the front and back of the flier he got in the mail the other day. ]

Voice;

Probably assassins. Chocolate's dark, like evil, and maybe they're saying they'll trim you like they did the flowers.

You know. Maybe.

[patroller]

I was afraid of this. It's not as if it wasn't expected. The scum of this colony know I can't kill them anymore so they're going to try to kill me!

That's the price of going soft I guess.

[ He clenched his teeth and held the paper tightly. ]

Calm down, Jaco. It'll be fine. There's always miscreants mixed in with the rest of the world.

Did they just send flowers and chocolates and nothing else? ... You know, like any clues?

[patroller]

Well actually. It was neither. I received two coupon slips to get flowers and to learn how to create chocolate. I guess the assassins were... lazy.

[ Jaco's voice seemed to ease up once he thought about that. A half assed murder wasn't as intimidating! ]

And an advertisement. For Thistle Do Nicely. From the looks of it, this shop specializes in flowers.

... Sounds like a trap. Or- maybe they're trying to recruit you into their assassin organization?

[patroller]

Well they'll need luck for that! I would never stoop so low as to be an assassin.

[ Killing people? Jaco would never! Especially not now that he's turned a new leaf. ]

Do you think their organization might be in the shop?

[timepatroller]

Could be that. Could be a recruiting station, or a base, or any number of things. Maybe just an associated firm? ... You better be on your guard, regardless.

I'm assuming you're going to investigate, right? I know the Galactic Patrol wouldn't back down from an open threat...
